New Wireless Routers Are So Easy |

I can still remember the days when installing a wireless router was only done by super genius computer geeks, but today’s wireless routers are so easy to install that one can do it blindfolded. Not too long ago we bought my mom a brand new wireless router online that she was able to install by just pressing one button and she could not be happier with the results. However, even though most of the installation for these new wireless routers has been automated, it is always a good idea to customize the security options. Most wireless routers use the WEP key security as their default type of data encryption, but along the years it has become a bit weakened. The better type of wireless router security comes in the form of WAP-2 encryption key which is a more robust and harder to crack security measure. The good news is that today’s wireless routers let you make the switch from one to the other in a very easy fashion. There is no jargon or special processes involved, most of the time is as easy as going into the wireless router menu and clicking on a drop down box. Once you are secure then it’s just time to let the wireless router do it’s thing while you surf the web as free as a bird all over the house.
