I am really, really glad that I brought my laptop computer with me to the last business meeting I had, which was over this past weekend, because all of the other attendees forgot theirs. We would have not gotten anything accomplished at this meeting because we required a laptop computer to look over charts and business paperwork, and really take some meeting notes. But I was so glad that as I was running out the door to head to the meeting that it dawned upon me: don’t forget your laptop computer Mike. So I got out of my car, leaving it running in the garage, raced inside and grabbed my laptop computer, hurriedly stuffing it in the carrying case and rushing off to my business meeting. Lucky for me, it really did make me shine, because I was the only one who was able to really be on the up and up. It also served to teach me a truly valuable lesson my friends: never forget your laptop computer when heading out to conduct your business.
