Spoiled By the Wireless Router |

Do you remember when 56K dial up internet first came out and everyone was on their computers taking five minutes to load a popular page? The time it took to get from one URL to another didn’t matter because it’s all we knew. Then DSL came out and those still rocking 56k were the butt of many nerdy tech jokes. It started to matter how fast it took a page to load. Soon we all became impatient and wanted things instantly. This was the beginning of computer technology spoiling our society. Now I’m getting frustrated if my favorite news outlet does not pop up within one second of clicking enter. Pretty much everyone has fast internet now but new technologies have spoiled us.
One of them is the wireless router. Screw only being able to surf from a hard wired laptop computer. I want access anywhere and everywhere. Our wireless router broke and another is in the mail. Right now we don’t have a working network. It is a cruel fate to have to share a single computer with web access. Where will technology spoil us next?
