Besides my laptop computer, my MP3 player is one of the most used objects I have around the house. Sometimes I turn on the radio in the kitchen while I clean or cook, but with an MP3 player, I can listen to anything I want quickly and easily. I can listen to anything by using podcasts uploaded to my MP3 player and listen to shows from anywhere in the world, as long as I can understand the language. I can also watch pictures that I download to my laptop computer on my MP3, so it's no wonder that this handy little device sees as much use as it does.
My newest MP3 player is the Coby 2GB Black 2" TFT LCD Super-Slim MP3/Video Player With Touchpad and it's so small it fits in my pocket or my purse but the screen is big enough for decent viewing. I'm no longer stumped for entertainment when I leave the house, sit in waiting rooms, or for a plane to take off. Thanks to my laptop computer and this MP3 player, I'm set for any occasion. I bought this Coby MP3 player at Zunes Plus located at www.zunesplus.com, a site that has all kinds of accessories for MP3 players and Zune players.
My laptop computer is essential in finding the files I want to load onto my MP3 player and since it holds 2 gigs, there's plenty of space on it for lots of podcasts and music. This player also has an FM tuner in it, which I considered essential in an MP3 player. Our public radio stations are really good and I love to listen to the talk shows they broadcast for new information and fresh perspectives on contemporary events. I find that there isn't much hyperbole on public radio and I appreciate the balanced news they broadcast.
There are places on the Internet where there are tons of podcasts to download to my laptop computer and it's an easy way to stay in touch with places all over the country. It's fun to hear what's going on all over the country, and radio shows are a good way to do that. Half of my family lives in Minnesota and the other half in Arizona, and we send each other podcasts of local news stories that cover issues important to us. When they send us the links, I download them to my laptop computer and then to my MP3 player so when I go for a hike, I can listen. Time is a precious commodity and between the laptop computer and my MP3 player, my days are filled with great music, news, and information.
